*RETIRED FOR NOW DON'T EXPECT TO SEE HER AROUND OFTEN.*
Name:
Keridwen
A.k.a.:
Keri
Gender:
Female
Age:
16
Race:
Altered Human
Eyes:
Pale blue, with stReaks of a darker teal.
Hair:
Medium-long straight hair, most commonly left down, rarely styled in any sort of manner. Usually a light blond.
Complexion:
Not exactly pale, but she doesn't get a large amount of sun. (Err; whatever star may be near by)
Clothes:
Generally wears a light long-sleeved shirt that is loose fitting, and has a light leather jacket adorned with odd glyphs and sigils, which sometimes glow with an internal light. The jacket was a gift from one of her benefactors, and is in fact a very minor form of powered armor, and offers far more protection than it would seem.
As for bottoms, she generally wears heavy cargo pants, almost always on the dark-side of the color spectrum, gray and dark browns are the most common.
Besides this, her most distinguishing article of clothing is an intricate collar, fastened tightly around her neck, which cannot seem to be removed by any means, as it has no seams.
Personality:
A child at heart, Keri often plays simple mischievous tricks on people, but never anything serious. She can often be seen in parks, or other places of nature, which might fascinate a younger person.
History:
Born somewhere in Anuradha, Keridwen's early childhood consisted of surviving by herself for the most part, until about the age of 8 she was “taken in” by a group calling themselves ‘The Council.’ For the next two years, she was kept in a dark complex, and surrounded by the hooded figures of the Council..
There were many other children kept there, but slowly, one by one they began to disappear. To those being held there, it was obvious that those that disappeared would never be seen again. Those that had been there long enough grew paranoid of every single action. And so in time, so did Keridwen, frightened of every shadow of the complex, waiting to be taken away from it all. The only solace from terror she had was a small garden in the back of the buildings, which was lit by a spell mimicking daylight.
It was during one of her many trips to this back garden that she was suddenly surrounded by the hooded figures and lost all vision. When she awoke Keri found herself in shackles, and an odd feeling within herself. She overheard whispering that something had finally been accomplished. Something about the fusion between a child an- ….And then the darkness overcame her again.
When next she woke, she found herself on the streets where she had grown up, with an odd collar around her neck, and a knife and sheathe next to her. Seeing nobody in sight, she immediately fled, not realizing immediately how much sharper her vision had become in the darkness of the night…
Powers:
While it is unknown what exactly Keridwen was subjected to, the effects are clear to see. She is able to see much clearer in dark places, seeing even pitch black as though it were a moderately lit room, such as by a large amount of candles, or a medium fire.
Keri has also demonstrated extreme amounts of resilience to damage, and minor wounds have healed completely in a matter of minutes. If one were to look closely enough, it doesn't seem as though the wounds heal like would be expected, even with cases of rapid regeneration. Something just seems... off.
The most useful ability she has yet learned to harness is jumping quickly through the Æther to shift positions in the material plane. At the moment this is a very brief jump, and moving more than 5 or so feet in any directions is all but impossible. When fighting, Keridwen often shifts quickly and as often as possible, which is every 15 seconds or so, and is such able to strike from anywhere.
Weapons:
A knife, carved with the same ornate glyphs that cover the collar, the whole knife is a strange dark black, which is alltogether disconcerting, and seems otherworldly. Each glyph is hewn in a vibrant red. The blade never seems to dull and has the ability to shift into other bladed forms. No matter what form the blade takes, it is balanced exactl for Keri’s strength and she can wield it well enough. Any experienced swordsman would be able to overpower her easily, but your average thug would be slightly outmatched.
