RP rules

IMPORTANT:

This is a semi-literate RP board. The whole reason I took out the quick reply is so that you would have to go through and at least see the little button that says ‘Spell check.’ Use it. Spell check is your friend.

Also, We should be able to tell the difference between the actions and the words of your character. This means using quotation {"word"} marks. No exceptions.

Chatspeak

No chatspeak is allowed in character. Contary to populary belief, people do not say "lol" instead of "Hahaha" when speaking.

No killing another persons character without their consent. In situations where a character is on the verge of death, that character is to be removed from the area by some means, based on that character. Vampires for example may just fade away, while humans may luckily roll out of the way, or something like that. This is simply to keep at least a small sense of realism to the rp, instead of people dying and suddenly coming back.

When a character is 'killed', meaning they cannot fight and have left, they may not take part in any more fights for at least an hour. Please try to be realistic with the fatigue of your character as well.

Godmoding

Godmoding will not be tolerated by any of the staff members on this board. You get one warning, then a 15-day suspension, then banned. No if, ands, or buts.

Freezing

Can’t finish your RP right now, just when it was getting good? Add freeze to the end of the last post in the thread and come back to it later. However make it noticable. We will not be held responsible if it is accidently removed because we did not see the freeze mark.

Mimi-Profiles
Your sidebar (AKA, your mini-profile) must be kept up-to-date with your rp race, wepons, rank, and magic skills.

Approval

Yes, Effective now, (11/17/06) If you join Dark Fantasy, you MUST have an Rp sample in your Bio sheet. Why? Because we don’t want people like this:
